Why Guanacaste?

Guanacaste is Costa Rica's sunniest province — a region of dry tropical forest, world-class surf breaks, and authentic Tico culture. Unlike the crowded Central Valley, Guanacaste offers space, warmth, and a slower rhythm that makes retreat work possible.

Our sanctuary sits minutes from Tamarindo, a lively beach town with restaurants, shops, and nightlife — but far enough away that you sleep beneath jungle canopy, not street noise. The Nicoya Peninsula, one of the world's five Blue Zones, surrounds us with longevity science, clean air, and a culture that prioritizes well-being.

From here you can surf at sunrise, hike through dry forest at midday, and watch monkeys roam overhead at dusk. The land is part of the retreat.
